While we were visiting Glendale to take in the last pre-season game between the Broncos and the Cardinals, my son and I decided to call Arizona Trail Masters to see what tours they offered. Pretty soon we were talking to a guy we found out later was called Wild Bill who talked us in to a tour of Sedona.

The next day we got to meet Wild Bill which seemed to be an appropriate name because he looked like a character out of a John Wayne movie. As we had no transport we really appreciated the pick-up right at the hotel at 8:00 a.m. sharp.

We enjoyed the really scenic drive (in the air-conditioned comfort of the Jeep) to Sedona which was punctuated with Bill's expert commentary about the area. Our first stop was at the vortex - it was a very tranquil and peaceful place - a gorgeous setting for a picnic or romantic getaway.

We stopped for lunch at the Coffee Pot restaurant and were treated to a hearty lunch. We then set out for the Broken Arrow Trail and pretty soon we were in 4-wheel mode with the A/C off and the windows open. Bill was an excellent driver and negotiated the climbs flawlessly. We got to get out of the jeep and walk and climb around on the red rocks where we were treated to a magnificent 360 degree panoramic view. It was a clear warm day and we went nuts taking pictures. From Submarine Rock we went to even higher elevations with even more breath-taking scenery. To get to experience areas which most of the locals are unaware of was a special treat. The drive down the mountains was perhaps even more exhilarating than the drive up.

When we got down the mountains (all shook up!) and put the A/C back on, we headed to the chapel in the rock and then into town for a little shopping for souvenirs. We then had a another very pleasant drive right back to our hotel in Glendale. It was a totally stress-free day where we really able to relax and enjoy the adventure and for the memories which will last a lifetime. Thanks to Wild Bill and company for an unforgettable experience.

Sedona Jeep Tour Testimonial

Mr. Greiner:

I am taking this opportunity to send you a personal THANK YOU!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to plan an outing that was truly unforgettable for me and my region. When we decided to do a team building outing, I was hoping things would go accordingly but my expectations were not only met but truly surpassed for all the right reasons.

You all not only planned a great outing but truly gave us memories for a lifetime. The Buddha Beach experience was AWESOME and a very spiritual experience. Arizona Trail Masters in my book is a top notch entity that truly puts the clients first, which is so refreshing in today’s day and age.

To surmise……thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!

My daughter and I traveled to Peoria, Arizona for medical reasons from Boston, Massachusetts. Not just a pleasure fun trip. We stayed in Glendale, Arizona. Since Wednesday is the doctor’s day off we scheduled a REAL jeep tour with Arizona Trail Masters.

On the day of our tour a vivid green jeep came to the hotel to collect us while we were eating breakfast. Trailmaster Bill (also known as Wild Bill) stepped out of the jeep to greet us. He said get ready for one of the greatest days of your life. He was not far from the truth. We were taken on a scenic tour of Sedona.

It certainly was not just an ordinary tour . It was the ARIZONA TRAIL MASTERS tour. This included pick up from our hotel, the drive to Sedona, lunch, visiting one of the vortexes of the earth, and off roading into the “back country” near the canyons. Yes, riding in a well equipped jeep to the most magnificent red rock canyon of Sedona called Broken Arrow Trail.

We jostled around the inside of the jeep as we rode up and down the canyon, but we always felt safe in the green jeep as it was gripping the rugged rocky terrain. And the scenery was awesome with lots of opportunities for picture taking. The scenic views were enough to take your breath away.

The favorite part of the tour was visiting the vortex. The vortex is sacred place. Many people travel from around the world to experience and visit the vortex. Wild Bill kept saying he was taking us to Buddha Beach and of course I was thinking “What does that mean? “ We were in the canyons of Arizona. I soon found out. We came across a stream of water where many people had created rock formations. One rock stacked upon another. They appeared to stay that way for no apparent reason. Yet they are very fragile as I personally found out. I sat on a rock and closed my eyes and an incredible peacefulness came over me. I could not think of the past or the future as I felt in perfect harmony with the present and my beautiful surroundings. I was in a state of complete meditation which is what humans strive to experience as they try to meditate. My daughter and I built a rock formation together that day.

Of course the day was completed with a shopping trip to Sedona. There are some great Native American jewelry items for a steal if you are smart enough to find them.

Lunch at the Coffee Pot restaurant with a variety of choices, including Mexican cuisine was part of the paid tour. Not bad! This trip even included pictures taken by the Trailmaster himself.

All I can say the price was GREAT for the scenery, the camaraderie, the narrated history, and for the experience of a lifetime in your own private Jeep.

And the best part of the journey was the spirit of love and sharing between my daughter and I on that special day.

Thank you Wild Bill and Arizona Trail Masters.

If you ever want to experience an awesome day, full of peace, tranquility and added excitement, you need to take a trip to Sedona, Arizona with Arizona Trailmasters.

The day began at 0800, being picked up at my front door. It can only be compared to being “Queen For A Day”. The ride to Sedona was very enjoyable with our tour guide, Bill. He was very knowledgeable of the area and kept us entertained the entire trip.

We arrived at Crescent Moon Ranch Recreation Area, where we went on a hike that was so relaxing and beautiful. You just wanted to sit along the flowing stream and enjoy the beauty and the feeling of your entire body being cleansed-all things being perfect. The scenery was breathtaking. You could feel the calm overtaking your body. If ever you felt close to Heaven, it was here. Everyone should have the opportunity to be in touch with nature and enjoy what God has put here.

From there, we were on to a great restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch with great atmosphere.
After lunch, we went to the most gorgeous area. All you could see were huge, beautiful red rocks in every direction. We were given the opportunity to climb to whatever height we were comfortable with. Bill was right there catering to our every need. You just wanted to stay forever. It was a perfect day.

After that we went on the most exciting Jeep mountain climbing excursion of my life. As we approached the mountains, I could not believe we were going up and over these in that Jeep. The entire time we were being given interesting information about the area. We finally reached our destination, as high as we could go without getting into an airplane. How breathtaking and exciting. It was certainly the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to see the beauty and learn about God’s awesome creation. Of course, the ride down the mountain was even more heart pounding. What a thrill. You have to experience it to believe it.

We then had a relaxing ride back to my front door. So sorry to have the day end, it was worth a million dollars. The professionalism, knowledge, and the attention of Bill was worth two million. You know that you have made a friend for life. I can’t wait to do it again.

We were so lucky to be given the chance to visit Sedona during our vacation travelling accross the U.S. this year. We had heard about the beauty and mystery of Sedona, and while in Flagstaff Arizona, by sheer chance we got talking to a lovely lady who knew exactly how to get us that experience, on the spot arranged everything for us, as we were leaving next day for Phoenix, Arizona Trail Masters specialize in exactly what we were looking for, and the lady in question was related to the company, so how about that for coincidence and luck.

Bill collected us at our hotel next morning as arranged, and off we travelled with all our luggage, as he was also leaving us at our next hotel in Phoenix after the tour, how about that for convenience.

The Red Rock Country is truly amazing, Bill took us to the back country also, where you can appreciate the landscape and contrasts, we experienced an off road 4x4 thriller up the high rocks, breathtaking views, canyons, creeks, mountains and forests, ponderosa pine trees and gentle streams, just unforgetable, the vortex sites, were something else indeed, very spiritual and peaceful, we could have stayed there all day, yes Sedona is a place to go, hopefully we will return one day soon. Our tour also give us the shopping option too, and our fabulous lunch was at the Coffee Pot, all included, courtesy of Bill and Trail Masters, on top of that we received all our photos on return home to Ireland, a great adventure, wonderful memories, felt very safe throughout, highly recommended.

Thank you Bill for everything,
